Funding Options

Once it’s been decided what we’re building, we’ll give you an idea on cost. It can vary from as low as $10 (modifying the steering mechanism on a toy family already owns), up to $1000 (new vehicle with several adaptions for steering and seating). If you can pay, we’d be most grateful as that will allow us to buy the parts needed for the next kiddo. If you’re unable to pay, here’s some other options we can help explore …
  • Depending on child’s age and address, there are local nonprofits that might help cover the cost of the vehicle.  We can help provide application paperwork and guide you through the process.
  • If your child is eligible for Katie Beckett Waiver Funding and your healthcare provider is able and willing to verify the need for vehicle, then that may be a funding source.
  • If neither of those work out, we can assist you in developing a “Go Fund Me” page to  crowd fund to help cover the cost.
  • If none of that works out, we have established a partnership with ?? (Trevor had an idea about financing)
  • If none of that works out, the vehicle will still be provided to the child on a “loaner” basis for a period of twelve months, after which it will either need to be returned or we can review payment options again on a pro-rated basis.
  • However it needs to happen, we want your child to have this opportunity.  That’s the most important thing!!
