The aim of all our programs is to create an environment where the concept of meaningful inclusion is applied, so that “close proximity and frequent opportunity” are given the opportunity to work their magic, with the end goal being the development of lasting friendships and a stronger community for all. People with disabilities are the largest minority group in the USA, and the only one that anyone could end up joining at any time! Adaptive Sports
Our goal is to get folks with and without disabilities playing together, preferably in a team setting. We use a concept called “reverse inclusion”—taking sports usually limited to athletes with disabilities and inviting people without disabilities to play as well.
Go Baby Go
Mobility is the first step toward inclusion. Our Go Baby Go program modifies off-the-shelf ride-on toy cars for children with disabilities, giving them the freedom to move and play alongside their peers, often for the first time. Adapted Toys
